Team Overview
The B&M Retail team manages in-store pharmacy operations, diagnostics, and e-consultation services ensuring excellent customer experience. The team works closely with Warehousing, Merchandising, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Sales:
- Meet daily sales targets across private labels, BigBasket, generics, and high-margin categories.
- Drive diagnostics sales targets.
- Execute prescription reminder calls and follow up with dormant/lapsed and high-value users.
- Maintain and review commitment registers to ensure timely deliveries.
Omnichannel Order Management:
- Achieve zero pushback on omnichannel orders.
- Ensure 100% TAT (Turn Around Time) compliance for order processing.
Customer Service & Experience:
- Greet customers warmly (folded hands).
- Understand and fulfill customer needs in-store and via calls/WhatsApp with responses within 15–20 minutes.
- Build lasting customer relationships through professional conduct.
- Manage home deliveries following service protocols.
Inventory Management:
- Ensure 100% accuracy in daily inventory inwarding and correct SKU placement.
- Conduct daily removal of expired, near-expiry, and non-moving stock.
- Enter bounced items into system and perform daily physical SKU audits.
Compliance & Banking:
- Maintain duplicate invoices and cold chain temperature logs per SOP.
- Manage manual bill regularization and sales returns with approvals.
- Prepare and verify Daily Sales Report (DSR) and cash ledger during shift handover.
- Respond promptly to store pharmacy emails.
Store Hygiene & Visual Merchandising:
- Maintain store cleanliness and orderly racks/shelves per VM SOP.
- Ensure correct discount tagging and display of monetized brands.
Marketing & Promotions:
- Set up in-store marketing materials and participate in camps and door-to-door promotions.
- Inform customers about offers, home delivery, and diagnostics services.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Pharmacy with 1-3 years relevant experience.
- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in pharmacy software and computers.
- Detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and ethical.
